Joanna Vander Vlugt is an author and illustrator. She enjoys talking and listening to fellow creatives about their writing and/or artistic journey. Her show The Dressing Room provides authors and artists an opportunity to tell their story--a dress rehearsal before taking their book launch or art show on the road.
Joanna published her legal thriller The Unravelling in 2019. Her previous publications include her short essay No Beatles Reunion for the Dropped Threads 3 anthology, Beyond the Small Circle; Egyptian Queen for the Dead in the Water mystery anthology and The Parrot and Wild Mushroom Stuffing for the Blood on the Holly mystery anthology.
As a teenager, she drew charcoal portraits and wrote mysteries. Joanna has always been intrigued by fashion illustrations. Instead of charcoal pencils, she switched mediums and now creates fashion and motorcycle illustrations using Copic markers. She has been commissioned to create motorcycle and car illustrations. Her art is collected by private collectors world-wide.
